In pages 103-105--> Document #4 "'William Pym' Asserts Parliamentary Supremacy, 1765" speaks about the Stamp Act. The document, I felt, discussed the consequences of this tax. Parliament feels that the colonies should pay taxes to England. England will propose protection for the colonies. In turn these colonies will help England get rid of their debt. The colonies will pay taxes to thank England for their protection and the taxes will go towards England’s debt repayment.
