aspects of culture, are a large part of philosophy as a practice. How can the knowledge or values of a group be summarized if most (if not all) aspects of culture are understood? I agree with Hountoundji’s belief on how to analyze philosophies but more so with Towa’s ideas on what is included in the definition of philosophy. A group’s philosophy is a part of their culture, not the other way around.
