I think affirmative action is something that is needed. It is still needed for the purpose that it would serve as a guarantee that minorities and women would get a job, if qualified. But a thought is that if it’s for minorities that in some cases does include the ever majority, white male, for example at a HBCU. The white male would be the minority in a situation like that, so he too should be considered when thinking of including the mnioirty.
