Deception of Ads While going through a magazine called Maxim, I found three advertisements that caught my eye. Maxim is a magazine for men so a lot of the ads had to do with women. They mostly were advertising tools, clothes and colognes. What women have to do with these items I have no idea. This ad was confusing like I said and it didn’t have much effect on me. I didn’t want to by there clothes because I think its target is for older people who smoke a lot and would like to get back some of what they have spent on cigarettes.
