LSD, ECSTASY, and MUSHROOMS
Negative Effects
Hallucinogens are drugs that cause hallucinations. Scientists explain a hallucination as
“a sensory experience of something that does not exist outside the mind. It may involve
hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting or feeling something that isn’t really there. Or, it may
involve distorted sensory perceptions, so that things look, sound, smell, taste or feel
differently from the way that they are.”

CONCLUSION
LSD, Ecstasy, and Mushrooms are hallucinogens whose physical and psychological
effects are unpredictable. An individual never can know just what to expect. The user
may experience mild effects, or, could possibly be left in deep physical and psychotic
distress. It is much like playing a game of Russian Roulette with one’s own body. The
decision of whether or not to use drugs of this type is an individual choice, but a choice
nonetheless.
