As the school bus rumbled past me, an angry high school student yelled obscenities at me from his open window. I was standing in front of a high school at 7 a.m. with an active pro-life family, holding posters showing aborted fetuses and signs saying, “Abortion Kills Children.” The family had decided to go to area high schools and display their signs to high school students. every year. And according to another study, post-abortive women are nine times more likely to attempt suicide than women in the general population.
An abortion is a devastating experience, both for the mother, who has killed her own child, and who feels extreme guilt, and for the baby, who has lost its life very early in a horribly painful death. And that’s what I want the high school students, and everyone else, to know.
