Abduction or Hallucination
In Carl Sagan’s, “The Demon Haunted World”, Sagan re-notes all the accounts of such relevant to abduction. He begins his argument by viewing back history, where beliefs of demons were spreading, and that great philosopher at the time also viewed that dreams are scripted by demons. These demons are then thought to “come down from the skies and have unlawful sexual congress with women.” (pg117). Sagan also expresses again his argument

If and just if all these “otherworldly intelligences” (demons, witches, aliens) are really there, is it possible that they themselves revolutionized or changed according to our time? Rather not, because I think these accounts and “intelligent figures” are just all in our head. We give them the image that is most fitted with our time. Their characteristics is of influences of that time, therefore they are just merely the product of “brain wiring” and “chemistry”.
