As Carol stood in the bathroom she knew what the result would be, her hands were shaking as she reached the first step of the stairs.
"John'" she shouted.
John came and stood at the bottom of the stairs with a worried look on his face
"What's wrong?" he asked.
By now Carol had already reached the bottom of the stairs, she gulped then said in a quiet voice - 'you're a daddy'.
