showed last 75 words of 495 total…blonde. The kid and CC will have a tear-jerking, heart-tugging scene where they decide to go through life together, singing and dancing. There is no doubt that the people who made the film approached it with great sincerity. However, "Beaches" lacks the impulsiveness that people came to expect of Bette Midler in the eighties. This is a movie constructed out of other movies--cliches that were old before the cast members ever dreamed of Hollywood.
