To learn oneself, one must stand alone without influences from others. Nora stated this in her own way when she said, “I must stand quite alone if I am to understand myself and everything about me.” Nora unknowingly took steps before reaching this ultimate discovery. Once she took the last step, the pieces fell together and she fell into this exposition of the human condition.

her first “screw up” in 8 years until she realized her role in the house. Once they found out her name was cleared, Nora was forgiven, and that enforced her decision to leave.
There were different things that motivated the change in Nora. Actions made by Christine and Torvald, as well as actions made by Nora herself influenced the evolution of Nora’s character. Nora showed that she “must stand quite alone.”
