Perhaps if her father wasn’t so overbearing or maybe if Homer settled down a little bit Emily wouldn’t have gone insane and committed such a crime; Did she know she was wrong for killing Homer, or was she so mentally sick, fearing he would desert her leaving her with what she had to do.
