because I had the same views as most. I do believe this is a retrospective Gothic story. What most changed my thoughts from my original interpretation were the three essays I selected. Reading the essays where more helpful for me because they gave me a type of guideline to follow. This essay was a great way to use other people work along with your own to come up with a better interpretative piece.
