A Christmas Carol
During Dickens time gift giving for Christmas was not a wide
spread practice as there was not much gift giving in the novel. If I were
to give a gift to Scrooge, Tiny Tim and Bob Cratchit they would have to
be something they would need and use, but they would also have to be
surprises for all of them.

Now gift giving
seems to have top priority during Christmas rather then spending time
and showing love for your family. However it is good to see that the
tradition of a one day party with family described in “A Christmas
Carol” is still seen today. The gifts I picked for Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and
Bob would surely do all of them good use, as they most likely wouldn’t
get those gifts during their time.
