…showed last 75 words of 801 total…the main and most obvious. Orwell was close with his prediction of helicopters, microphones, and telescreens to be used to watch the world. Today’s society is not far from having its own Big Brother watching and making people believe 2+2=4. In today’s society Ignorance is bliss because if people saw actually how close society has come to Orwell’s world, they would be mortified. Modern surveillance maybe a doorway to the totalitarian world of 1984.
