He’s just an old man??” This implies that the jury cannot believe any of the old man’s testimony, which was most of Cobb’s argument. He then at the end became an isolate when his influence was no longer evident. Screaming things like “What’s the matter with you people” is not convincing and is why he becomes isolated.
